This duo has since rocked crowds throughout Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange County bringing a performance level of drum and bass that is guaranteed to shock and awe any crowd. Dip’s track selection along with his precise double drops and bass-line switches will get any audience moving. Combined with J-Tec’s energetic lyricism, Maximums Moves offers a different and new flavor to drum and bass.In May 2006 the duo released their debut mix CD “Maximum Moves: Volume One” with the help of Los Angeles based drum and bass crew Grapevinez. On May 19, 2006 Grapevinez presented “Legendz” Maximum Moves’s official CD release party. They shared the stage with some of L.A.’s finest djing and MC talent as well as UK talent J-Majik. 2006 was defiantly the year of Maximum Moves. In October the duo played at the annual Halloween massive; Monster Massive after having only released their debut cd a few months earlier. They shared the stage with the talent of Klute, Chase & Status, Sub Focus, AK 1200 and MC Verse.In 2007 Maximum Moves was invited to play at Respect, LA’s longest lasting drum n bass weekly. February 22nd Maximum Moves truly showed something different to the Los Angeles drum n bass scene. The reviews from this show have jump started their 2007 plans to venture outside of California bringing their unique sound to everyone in the US and around the world. Maximum Moves latest project Maximum Moves Volume 2 on 3: “Journey to a Special Place” was released at Grapevinez newest event RIZE showcasing the growth in Dip’s mixing and skill on three decks as well as on the microphone. The time has come to break free of convention and routine. Witness this new brand of live drum n bass at a venue near you!!!
